April 19 – May 5
Early voting is underway for the May 8 primary. Registered voters select from a slate of Democratic candidates who are the party’s best choices to take back North Carolina from the GOP in the November General Election.
You can confirm locations, days, and hours—and even see current wait times—at the Buncombe County Board of Election Services website.
Are you registered to vote yet? Need to update your address? You can do either of these at any Early Voting site.
Visit the Buncombe County Democratic Party candidates’ page to learn more about candidates. Also, remember some of our candidates have no primary opposition, and so they will not be part of your primary voting choices.
To see a sample ballot or to check your precinct poll site, visit the NC Board of Elections website.
Election Day voting takes place from 6:30 am–7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 8, at your assigned precinct poll site.
