EARLY VOTING ENDS THIS SATURDAY!

There are only a few more days for Early Voting for the 2024 Democratic primary  - it ends on Saturday March 2 at 3pm. Election Day is March 5. Polls are open now -- get out there and define the Democratic ticket for 2024!

You can find information about early voting sites, candidates, a guide the new Voter ID rules, and more at our website -- get started here.

Election Day Poll Greeters

Most of our Precinct Officers are scheduling Poll Greeters for Election Day at each of our 80 polling locations.  If you're not sure who your precinct chair is, just call us at 828-274-4482 and we'll be happy to connect you.

Poll greeting is important for so many reasons, including welcoming all voters to the polls, ensuring a safe and positive environment for everyone, reminding voters to fill out their entire ballot, reporting any concerns to our Voter Protection Team and collecting contact information for future volunteers.

We now have an on-demand video for poll greeters, so click here to view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlRUXoUC86s&t=1s

Election Night Watch Party

Democrats  and left-leaning unaffiliated voters will begin gathering at the Hi-Wire Brewing Company at 2A Huntsman Place in Biltmore Village at 6:30pm on Tuesday, March 5th.  Come anytime during the evening and plan to get dinner at the food truck as well as drinks at the bar. We'll settle in for the evening to watch election results come in, hear from some of our Democratic candidates who didn't have primary opponents, and, of course, we will celebrate Democratic victories when they are announced. We love a good party, so come for the fun!

BCDP Convention

The 2024 Buncombe County Democratic Party Convention will take place on Saturday, March 16th at 10am at the Ferguson Auditorium, Fernihurst Drive at A-B Technical College.  Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. so please plan to arrive early to complete registration. Delegates will receive emailed copies of the agenda, proposed convention rules and resolutions no later than this Saturday, March 2nd. We are asking that all resolutions  be read thoroughly prior to the convention because there will be no time allotted during the convention for such reading.

Our keynote speaker will be NC House District 115 Representative Lindsey Prather! Other Democratic candidates who are running in the General Election are also welcome to briefly address convention attendees.
