Meet your Buncombe County Commissioner Candidates!

Remember that ALL politics are local! The work that our Commissioners do often has a greater impact on our lives. Here's your chance to meet these people, ask your questions, and learn what they've been doing to make things better for us in Buncombe County! They will explain what they do, what they are planning if elected, and why it's important!

Commissioner Amanda Edwards is running for BC Chair. Commissioners Terri Wells and Parker Sloan are running to be re-elected. And Jennifer Horton is running to be a first time BC Commissioner.

Format for the evening: We’ve heard feedback that many attendees would like more time to socialize and mingle, so we’ll be doing that from 5:30-6:15. Program begins at 6:15 and runs to 7:30.

When registering, if you and your partner have the same email, put both names in Attendee box (e.g., John & Mary Doe). If you have different emails, please register individually. This is important for headcount, as we have to cut off registration at 90.

Who should attend: Left-leaning unaffiliated voters and Democrats from N. Buncombe and N. Asheville Clusters.
