From the Campaign for Southern Equality:
Asheville is blooming, and we can't wait to stop and smell the roses with you at our next Resource & Resilience Center on Thursday, 4/24 from 11am-5pm. Whether you want to relax with a nice reiki session and a haircut or you're seeking support navigating resources, we're here to welcome you, support you, and spend some good time in queer community with you.
Join us next Thursday, April 24th, from 11am - 5pm at 20 Oak Street to grab a tasty lunch, get a snazzy new haircut, and find support navigating resources for you and your family. Whether you're looking for support, self-care, or just some friendly faces, we've got your back and can't wait to see you all.
We'll have new and old offerings to support our friends and neighbors this week: Chef J. Chong is serving up a hearty hot lunch, Travis Bekina is providing hot chair massages, Marshall will be hosting Reiki for Today sessions, Leila will be making lattes, and we'll have our team dog Chewie to keep you company. Plus, we'll have several hairstylists and barbers joining our salon this week, including Vanu from Dream House Hair Studio, Dru Wright, and Nur Shawamreh of Asheville Barber Company. Get a stylish spring haircut, grab a tasty snack, or just hang out and listen to great music with us – we're here for all of it!
