Be SMART Asheville Monthly Meeting

Kids deserve to feel safe...wherever they are!

  • Firearms are the leading cause of death for American children
    and teens.

  • 4.6 million children live in a home where at least one gun is
    loaded, unlocked, and accessible.

  • 3 out of 4 guns fired at school were obtained from a friend or
    relative’s home.

Join Asheville’s Be SMART volunteer community group to find out how YOU can help keep unsecured guns out of the hands of kids and unauthorized users — particularly people who are a danger to themselves and others.

Learn:
● Who we are
● The SMART framework
● How we spread the word
● How to inquire about gun storage
● Actions you can take locally

Next (Virtual) Meeting: Tuesday, Apr. 23, 7:30-8:30 p.m. ***On Zoom***
