This event will raise your awareness about anti-hunger efforts in our area. Wear appropriate clothing to get at ground level at the Root Cause Farm, 26 Joe Jenkins Road, which is right off 74 opposite The Whistle Stop in Fairview. We will pull weeds, or possibly prepare soil, harvest, wash, and pack vegetables for distribution to no-cost markets, which provide food for those in need in our community. You could get dirty! Bring your favorite weeding tool.

This farm (formerly known as The Lord's Acre) is a great place to bring your family any normal Sunday afternoon during the growing season when they have a volunteer time 3-6 pm.
