Great news! The Democratic event of the summer, sponsored by the South Buncombe Dems is coming! Save the date of August 28th for an afternoon of fun, food, fellow Dems and fantastic music @ Lake Julian, Shelter #1. We will be there from 2-5PM, cooking up turkey and veggie dogs with all the trimmings. Tea, lemonade and water will also be provided.

A covered dish to go with the hot dogs (slaw, chips, potato salad, baked beans, other veggie dishes or a dessert) would be most appreciated! Other than that, all you need to bring is yourself — and an appetite for a good time. Johnny Blackwell (also known as Johnny Jukebox) will be on hand to provide musical entertainment, playing Americana/all genres of music.

All Democrats and those interested in Democratic candidates are welcome.
