Creating Jobs and Opportunities for Americans (BCDP Weekly)

The month of June saw a whopping 206K jobs created -- adding to 15 million jobs created during the Biden presidency.

Under President Biden, job growth is up, and unemployment is down. A stark contrast to the state of the nation when he took office in 2021. This administration continues the work to make sure all Americans have access to good-paying jobs to put food on their tables.

While the BCDP Dance for Democracy fundraiser originally scheduled for July 18th is off, our focus on supporting Democratic candidates is absolutely on!

You can make a difference in many ways. Canvassing and phone banking are the most effective. Look at the calendar at buncombedems.org/calendar and you'll find a wide variety of opportunities to get the Democratic message out, have great chats with neighbors and even make new friends.

Candidate events can be lots of fun too.  For example, in addition to the week ahead listings below, consider attending fundraisers for candidates such as Terri Wells on July 25th and Lindsey Prather on July 27th.  This type of event offers unparalleled opportunities to learn more about the candidates and their plans for your community -- and let them know what matters most to YOU.
