Know Where Your Donations Go, and Volunteer with BCDP

Most of us receive fundraising emails and texts and mailers daily. Some are from legitimate sources, but not all are. Make sure you know the entity before you send money. We suggest you stick to actual, verifiable candidate campaigns (not PACs or entities you don't recognize) and organizations with which you are familiar. If you're not comfortable donating -- and even if you are -- please consider doing some of the volunteer tasks that can make a significant difference in this year's election.

The Buncombe County Democratic Party uses donations to support our volunteers. We provide information via literature, newsletters and our website, training, supplies for the events and personal contacts that bring more volunteers and voters into the fold, canvassing support, phone banks, tabling at public events throughout our County, poll observers, poll greeters...and the electronic and physical infrastructure to enable all the activities required to get Democrats elected! The BCDP Board, Cluster Leaders, Precinct Officers, Front Desk staffers, and everyone doing our many outreach activities are all unpaid volunteers.

BCDP gratefully appreciates each volunteer striving at every level to get Democrats into office or stave off challengers who do not share our values.
