VOTE!
Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, 6:30am to 7:30pm
On Election Day, you must vote at your precinct's designated poll site. See polling locations, including sites changed due to Helene, by looking up your information at the NC Board of Elections site. For candidate information, visit our 2024 Candidates page.
NOTES for VOTERS:
- If you are in line at 7:30pm, stay in line and you will be allowed to vote.
- Curbside voting is available at every location if you are unable to enter the poll site.
- Get a Democratic Sample Ballot from our friendly Poll Greeting volunteers. Click here to view or print a copy. You can bring it into the voting booth to use as a guide to complete BOTH SIDES of your ballot.
- If you haven't already voted, bring some friends with you. Make it a social event.
- If you requested an absentee ballot but haven't received it or mailed it back yet, you may return it (with witness signatures and a copy of your photo ID, carefully assembled according to the instructions), to the Buncombe County Board of Elections at 59 Woodfin Place. If you have been displaced due to Hurricane Helene, you can return your ballot in person to any North Carolina Board of Elections office. It must be RECEIVED by 7:30pm on Nov. 5th. Or, if you are now able, please vote in person on Tuesday and destroy your absentee ballot.
Last Chance -- Help Us Get Out the Vote for Election Day
If you have already voted, great! Now, encourage every other like-minded person you know to vote too. Reach out to family and friends. Post on your social media accounts. Help spread the word in every way you can. Democracy is on the ballot and every single vote matters!
We need you! These are our last opportunities to reach voters.
We need help knocking on friendly Democratic/Left-leaning Unaffiliated doors.
We provide training if needed. You can volunteer with us through Election Day.
