The White House & NCDP House are Coming to Our House! (BCDP Weekly)

Help Us Welcome the Biden and NCDP State Campaigns on Sat., May 18th, 11:30am at BCDP HQ!

The Biden Campaign and the NC Council of State races (the "Coordinated Campaign") are joining together to open their offices at BCDP headquarters. We're planning a great Coordinated Campaign Launch Party on Saturday, May 18th at 11:30am.

We're giving them a warm welcome by grilling burgers (with veggie option) and hot dogs, live music, and speakers featuring Mo Green, candidate for North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction.

BREAKING NEWS:  Caleb Rudow, candidate for US House of Representatives, District 11, will also be joining the celebration!

You can bring a lawn chair and a dessert to share if you wish.
Please help us plan for food and other needs with your
RSVP asap.

Take Action

  • Attend a Precinct and/or Cluster Event

Attending a Precinct and/or Cluster meet-up can be a terrific way to form friendships, find inspiration, and get organized for success in the coming months!
While quick solutions to local, state, national and global issues might not be the immediate result, creative ideas and inspiring collaborations happen at local events like the ones found in the Upcoming Events calendar below and in the buncombedems.org calendar. Give some of these a try!

  • Help Protect Our Elections

Want a great way to protect our democracy? Volunteer to attend Buncombe County Board of Elections meetings. Our presence reduces the likelihood of intimidation by election deniers and will ensure the board proceedings are documented in a timely manner.

We need Democrats at these meetings to counteract Republican presence and to show support for the Board's efforts! Please sign up if you're willing to attend and possibly take a turn with note-taking. There are a variety of days and times from which to choose.
