It's our final newsletter of 2023, so we're here with the last few urgent asks we have for 2024. Get in touch to help us fill these critical roles.
Kickoff Volunteers
Help us kick off 2024 in true Buncombe Dems style. This is a big event that will take a team to pull off successfully. Interested in event planning, flyer distribution, event setup, or helping out duing the event? Reach out to David Perry (DWPerry3311@gmail.com) and let him know!
Got photos from your events and activities in 2023? We're looking to fill a slideshow we'll be projecting on some screens during the event -- reply to this email with them or share a link with info@buncombedems.org.
Office Staffing
We'll be increasing our office hours at HQ starting in January, and we need additional volunteers to join our team! Office Staffing volunteers cover one to four shifts a month (your choice); a shift lasts 3-4 hours. Duties include answering questions for callers and visitors, as well as special projects that can be done during your shift.
An initial group training will be scheduled in January with an in-depth, one-on-one training with an experienced volunteer in January/February. If you are interested in joining the Office Staffing team, please contact Linda Stover at lindalstover@gmail.com or 704-905-6530.

Come celebrate the New Year with Buncombe Democrats and Rep. Lindsey Prather at Wicked Weed West (145 Jacob Holm Way) in Candler, starting at 6:30pm!
We encourage all Democrats, especially those living in the Hominies Cluster and in House District 115 (precincts 45.1, 47.1, 48.1 and 49.1), to come out and meet with Rep. Prather and celebrate all that Buncombe Dems have accomplished! We'll have voter registration forms as well, so bring anybody by who hasn't registered to vote yet!
